Curious moment yesterday during the Elite Women’s criterium at the 2016 ATEC Expo at Sydney Olympic Park. Lidcombe-Auburn rider Joanna (who also happened to be overall Race Director) suffered a mechanical with a few laps to go. Who was there to help change her wheel? None of other than her hubby Steve, who just happened to be the Chief Commissaire. It was a close run thing, they only just got her going again after the lap out.
