The UCI World Championships in Tuscany aren’t the only major global cycling event happening this month. The Interbike International Bicycle Expo is on right now in Las Vegas. First held back in 1982, it’s the largest bicycle industry trade show in North America and, therefore, one of the most important in the world. Pretty much every manufacturer of anything to do with cycling is there spruiking their latest wares, as are pelotons of the world’s cycling media – ensuring the most common activity of all is likely to be arse kissing, closely followed no doubt by excessive drinking.
