Overheard at coffee recently, a mostly earnest conversation about the ideal brake pads to use with carbon rims when racing. After much discussion about the various brands out there and the fact you should always avoid using the same pads on your aluminium and carbons rims, one wag pipes up:
“Mate, it’s a race. You don’t need brakes.”
