How was the Donna? She can be a cruel mistress sometimes….
She was pretty moody on the Friday, but I was in the hire car so it was fine (!). Weather was superb on the Saturday. We only went up half way via the Acheron Way… probably the nicest road I’ve ever ridden. Reefton Spur and the last climb before the decent into Marysville was tough, but satisfying. Loved the downhill though. 85km/h+.
