Carbon Addiction

This weekend Bathurst is all about cars. But last April it was all about bikes, when I found myself in town for the 2013 B2B sportif. Having completed the 110km course, I decided I couldn’t leave without doing at least one 6.2km lap of the iconic mountain circuit on my bike as well. It took me 17 mins and one second, at an average speed slightly slower than a V8 super car – 21.8km/h – enough to place me 82nd of 210 on Strava. KOM is 10:27. Holy shit.
