You may recall a while back I quoted a rider who confessed he didn’t want to have a second child until he’d saved enough for a new carbon aero wheelset.
Well, this morning I was delighted to see this very same rider has indeed landed himself a gleaming new set of 50mm full carbon Bontrager wheels. This, of course, led to the inevitable question: when’s child number two coming?
A quick smirk preceded this response:
“Ah, well, those new Garmin power meter pedals are about $1500, another baby might have to wait a bit longer…”
