Remember the nasty winding descent from the top of Alpe d’Huez in the 2013 TdF? Well here it is, GoPro style. Check out the glorious road surface complete with random boulders and a distrubing lack of guard rails. Imagine speeding down here surrounded by 170 other riders, screaming fans, mopeds, team cars … and goats.

Drooling- I want to ride that road
On a MTB perhaps!
We rode down it as a much less congested way off Alpe d’Huez after the double climb Thursday. Road was damp and it was the most technical and challenging descent in a week of climbing and descending with Thomson Bike Tours that included Ventoux, Telegraphe, Galibier, Alpe d’Huez, Les Deux Alpes plus many others. Just ride within your limits! And yes, if you want to be a pro rider, put considerations of personal in the back pocket of your jersey.
You just rode all of those TJ? It’s official then. I hate you 😉
Now you’re just showing off 🙂
And I’m an LACC member! Different coffee shops! Some things we just gotta learn to live with! Keep up the good work.
