The TDF crowds are huge. They’re excitable. And they’re getting mighty close to the riders on the 2013 climbs. It’s always awesome to watch, part of Tour tradition, but here’s hoping no-one accidentally brings down a rider on the slopes of Ventoux. There were some mighty close calls last night, and several riders have even resorted to tweeting for fans to stand back.
