No shit you didn’t see me. Unless you happen to be a psychotic killer, I’m pretty sure you didn’t knock me off my bike and leave me bleeding by the roadside on purpose. Does that make it okay that you nearly killed me? No it doesn’t. How about looking a bit harder at the road next time please, instead of at your mobile phone. Oh, and never EVER use those five words again. They are little more than a negligence laden cop-out for inattentive and/or incompetent drivers. Not an excuse.
