So this weekend it’s on to E3 Harelbeke and Gent-Wevelgem … two Belgium Classics with superbly quirky names (particularly the first one) … just like this fine 8.4% amber ale from the Bosteels Brewery in Buggenhout. Only the Belgians would name a beer to make those who order it sound like ducks. Like most Belgian beers, Kwak has its own branded glass but it also comes with a wooden stand. Fancy.
