So that’s about it for the Aussie (international) road cycling season. The focus now shifts momentarily to the Middle East, and then on to the main course in Europe, the Classics … and this bike fan can’t wait. Notoriously unpredictable weather. Cobblestones. Dust. Killer climbs. And lots and lots of surprises. It got me thinking, if I was somehow able to be not so shit, what race would I most like to win? For me it simply has to be Roubaix. How about you?
